Prayers for Jenna

Hi! I would like to request prayers today for Jenna Douthit. She is the 4 year old daughter of friends of ours, Keri and Neal. She was diagnosed as a baby with epilepsy. She has been on medication to control it ever since, but just recently the meds stopped working. She started seizing constantly, and her parents took her to the hospital in Birmingham for tests. She has been home the last few days, and Kevin and I went to visit with her and take her a few gifts, as well as some for her brothers. I honestly didn't know what to expect or if she would even know we were there because Keri had told us she was really "drunk" from the medication she was on to help control the constant seizing. But that sweet baby girl knew us, she was excited about her new toys, and she spent the whole hour playing with them. Keri told us she had had a good morning, and she did not seize at all while we were there. And I just spoke to Neal's sister, and she told me that Jenna has not had a seizure since Thursday night.
Today, she is back in B'ham for a consultation with the neurosurgeon. They have her scheduled for a very intrusive surgery on Dec 18th, but it's possible she could get in sooner. Since she has stopped seizing for the time being, the parents are very concerned about "what do we do". Damned if we do, damned if we don't scenario...so please pray that they get a clear answer today from the neurosurgeon. These parents are precious, and they have been through a very hard time the last few weeks.
